Refunds and exchanges

DHC is committed to providing you with high-quality products. If for any reason one of our products fails to meet your expectations, you can return merchandise ordered from our catalog or website at any time within 60 days of your order date for an exchange or a refund of the purchase price.

Please follow these instructions for returning your merchandise:

  • Please return your items with a completed Return/Exchange Form (on the back of your invoice), in a prepaid parcel using an insured carrier to the following address:

    DHC is not responsible for return postage or lost or misdelivered items. Please note that this location cannot accept packages being dropped off.

    Important: If you are exchanging products and there is a payment due on the exchange, please call Customer Service at 1.800.DHC.CARE (342.2273). Do not send your credit card number, cheque or money order with your Return/Exchange form.

  • Please note that when returning items on which you have received a discount or offer, you would no longer be eligible for the discount or offer if you fall below the threshold to receive that discount or offer because of the return. Original shipping and processing charges will not be refunded.

  • DHC cannot accept any returns for purchases made at any retail location or from any third party. Retail locations and third parties cannot accept returns for purchases made through our catalog or website.

  • Please allow six to eight weeks to receive your refund or exchange, or up to two billing cycles for your credit to appear on your credit card statement. Please note that refunds for orders placed on or before April 8, 2009 will be processed and credited in U.S. dollars.

  • By ordering goods on this website, you hereby authorize a licensed Canadian customs broker chosen on your behalf to act as your agent, and to transact business with Canada Border Security Agency (CBSA) to clear your merchandise, account for applicable duties and taxes, and if required, to return the merchandise to the merchant and to prepare and submit refund claims on your behalf for any merchandise that is returned. In the event of a return, CBSA will send any refund of duties and taxes that were paid on the returned merchandise to the broker and you will obtain the refund directly from us. In this connection, you also authorize the customs broker to endorse any refund cheque issued by the CBSA in your name, so that we may process the reimbursement.
